be that as it may, unless you get an ok from folks in the league (and guys, feel free to chime in), I don't think you can have more than 8 SP's at any point, even if it's just "pre-season"

I wouldnt think it is a problem as long as by Opening Day there are a max of 8 SPs on the roster.
