I practiced about 30 mock drafts on ESPN prior to drafting. Never did I once go WR-WR, but somehow thats exactly what I ended up doing in my money league. I kind of winged it throughout the rest of the draft, targeting what I thought were high-upside players. Rosters = 1 QB, 2 RB, 1 RB/WR, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 D/ST, 1 K
Heres how it went: (started with 9th overall in 12 team snake draft)
- Andre Johnson -WR
- Calvin Johnson -WR
- Jamaal Charles -RB
- Tony Romo -QB
- Ricky Williams -RB
- Arian Foster -RB
- Jermichael Finley -TE
- Santana Moss -WR
- 49ers D/ST
- Willis McGahee -RB
- Malcolm Floyd -WR
- Matt Stafford -QB
- Julian Edelman -WR
- Julius Jones -RB
- Larry Johnson -RB
- Joe Nedney -K
IMO Edelman is a great pickup if/when Welker goes down, not sure he should be drafted but I'm not up-to date on his status? Has he clinched that #3 WR spot?
I think your RB could get an upgrade, lots of question marks IMO with McGahee/Jones/LJ. You got a steal with Charles in the 3rd round, WOW
