No he's not. He's lost his last few games, but is still arguably the best starter Oakland has. Leads the team in wins and strikeouts.

No he's not. He's lost his last few games, but is still arguably the best starter Oakland has. Leads the team in wins and strikeouts.

I actually follow the A's and he's probably the 4th best pitcher behind Trevor Cahill, Dallas Braden and Brett Anderson (our ace who's on the DL).

But if rose wants him who am I to judge? He certainly has the track record of success in this league.

If Brett Anderson is your "ace", Gio Gonzalez isn't very far behind.

Plus, I'm trading him for a guy who'd be on rose's bench that I could use due to Tulo's injury.

What a matchup with Brew. He won all the hitting and I won the pitching. 5-5 as of now although he can tie in Wins still. Will either be 5-5 or 5-4.

My hitting is just pathetic. Worse than pathetic.

Sometimes you can get lucky though. Jenks and Axford have been great for me since I picked them up on the waiver wire. Nice combo to go with Cordero and Wilson. Right now its about the best thing this team has going.

Hard to believe James that we are already starting the 2nd half of our season. I predict my team takes a big fall.
