Victor Martinez and Stubbs for Kubel and Napoli is a joke. Kubel was on waiver wire until this week and Napoli is marginal. Martinez is worth WAY more than the players received.

Yep. Napoli and Kubel are both waiver wire guys. If I was commish I would veto this deal.

LOL. I'm sure you do. You just got one of the best hitters in baseball who can also play 1b for 2 waiver wire guys. I am just expressing my opinion and others may differ but this is a deal that is too one sided to stand.

James, what is the rule on trades? If the deal is rejected by the majority of owners does it then get cancelled? I dont think this was ever explained.

Other than average Martinez has been a disappointment this year while Napoli (who is also 1B/C) leads all catchers in HR's, even John Buck who is my other catcher) and the Twins OF has more RBI's than Martinez.

If you asked me at the beginning of the season: Hell NO!

But like I said, V-Mart has been disappointing for me this season and Napoli has been putting good numbers lately. I feel like him and Buck will work for me at C, plus Napoli is a 1B too so I don't lose flexibility there.

Kubel has a good number of RBI's playing in a potent lineup.

Again, if V-Mart was having the year I expected him to have no way I accept but I'm not high on him. You put up the numbers and tell me it's a straight up steal.

I'm not just giving guys away as proven by me rejecting your deal, and it's not like James is my buddy and I'm just giving him players, I just rejected an offer for Gallardo from him that I thought was laughable.

In the end if that's how you guys feel you can always veto

I need someone who can hit for average and a pitching upgrade. I've sent out some trade requests and no one's even countered.

If anybody wants to make a deal I'm open to most anything if it's a fair offer.
