Matt Maiocco, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports San Francisco 49ers OG Justin Smiley left practice Tuesday, June 19, to deal with a personal matter. He is expected to miss the remaining two practices of OTAs.

DL Ronald Fields (elbow) injured his elbow in practice Tuesday, June 19. The injury is not expected to be serious.

According to Matt Barrows of The Athletic, the Arizona Cardinals have signed defensive back Qwuantrezz Knight off the San Francisco 49ers practice squad. The move comes as the Cardinals place safety Budda Baker on injured reserve. "Arizona was very interested in Knight after he was part of SF's cuts to get down to 53 players last month," Barrows noted in a tweet. The team did not practice on Monday, a day off for players, but estimated that wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk would not have participated had there been any on-field work. Aiyuk and cornerback Ambry Thomas will be limited in today's sessions. The team is preparing for Thursday night's game against the New York Giants at Levi's Stadium. On Sunday, Aiyuk was in and out of the lineup against the Los Angeles Rams. He suffered a shoulder injury on his first catch, a 13-yard reception during the 49ers' opening drive.
