The San Francisco 49ers announced today that they have released nine players, including WR Jerome Simpson. The complete list of cuts are listed below.

The team also placed WR Eric Rogers (ACL) on the injured reserve list. The roster now has 79 players on it. The team has until 1 PM PT on Tuesday to get down to 75 players.
Earlier today, the 49ers
traded CB Kenneth Acker to the Kansas City Chiefs for a seventh-round draft pick in 2018.

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke to reporters after the team's 30-23 win over the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium. He provided injury updates from the game.
