Confirmed: 49ers will wear 60th Anniversary path on their jerseys

When Vernon Davis walked up on stage after being picked with the 6th overall selection in the 2006 NFL Draft, he was handed a 49ers jersey with the customary #1 on it.

That jersey had the 60th Anniversary patch on it. The 49ers wore a 50th Anniversary patch on their jerseys during the 1996 season.

Adam Schefter joined ESPN radio on Tuesday morning and voiced his opinion on who the San Francisco 49ers will select with the No. 3 overall pick on April 29. Much of the media predicts that player to be former Alabama quarterback Mac Jones, and Schefter sees that as the most likely outcome, too.
