San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey played through some knee irritation on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. While Kyle Shanahan didn't sound too concerned about the injury after the game, the 49ers coach said his running back would miss the first practice of the week as the team prepares to host the Miami Dolphins at Levi's Stadium on Sunday. "He just felt something in it (during the game), some irritation," Shanahan told reporters before Wednesday's practice. The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 13 contest against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Christian McCaffrey didn't practice. The running back worked through some knee irritation on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. Head coach Kyle Shanahan wasn't sure if the situation would keep McCaffrey from playing this weekend.
