The NFL will unveil its full 272-game schedule for the 2025 season tonight at 5:00 p.m. PT. As is often the case, some week-by-week matchups tend to leak ahead of the official announcement. This tracker compiles those early reports as we count down to the full schedule release.
As usual, the San Francisco 49ers will face each NFC West rival twice. They'll also play the last-place teams from the NFC North (Bears), NFC East (Giants), and AFC North (Browns). Additionally, their schedule features matchups against every team in both the NFC South and the AFC South.

The 2025 NFL season will kick off on Thursday, September 4, with the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles hosting the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field. The season will conclude with Super Bowl LX on February 8, 2026, at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California—home of the 49ers.
San Francisco avoided any international games this season, as the NFL has announced those matchups. They also won't be playing on Thanksgiving or Christmas.
