The San Francisco 49ers kicked off the 2024 season with a 32-19 Week 1 win over the New York Jets at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

With The Win...

  • San Francisco has started the season 1-0 for the ninth time in the last 13 seasons and in consecutive seasons for the first time since the 2015-16 seasons.
  • The 49ers improved to 53-31 when playing on Monday Night Football and tied the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most wins all-time on MNF.
  • The Niners improved to 12-3 all-time against the New York Jets, including a 5-2 record at home.
  • Head coach Kyle Shanahan improved to 2-0 vs. the Jets and improved to 4-2, including two consecutive wins, against the AFC East as head coach of the 49ers.
  • San Francisco earned a Week 1 win at home for the first time since the 2016 season when they defeated the Los Angeles Rams, 28-0 (9/12/16).
