Ricky Pearsall, the 49ers' first-round draft pick, disclosed his newly assigned number during a radio interview on Wednesday morning, noting that he had no say in the matter—for now.

"They gave me the number," Pearsall remarked regarding his No. 14 designation. "That's what they assigned me for camp, so I'm going to rock out with it."

The receiver added, "They say that number got no aura, but I'm gonna put some aura in it."
