San Francisco 49ers tackle Trent Williams fought through most of Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. Defensive tackle Shelby Harris rolled up on Williams' right ankle in the first quarter. The offensive lineman eventually made it to the sideline, albeit with a noticeable limp.

Initially, it seemed like Williams might miss the remainder of the game. That would have been a significant loss for the 49ers, who were relying on the veteran to keep talented Browns pass rusher Myles Garrett away from second-year quarterback Brock Purdy.
Williams returned to the field for the 49ers' next offensive series. However, it was clearly a struggle.
"It didn't feel good at all," Williams told reporters after the 19-17 loss. "It's football, and I just tried to fight through it for my teammates. I know they got a Hall of Fame rusher over there in 95, and I wanted to get back out there so I could kind of help my team try to contain him. I didn't want to put [49ers OL] Jaylon [Moore] in that position."
ESPN's Nick Wagoner noted that Williams' right foot was in a walking boot after the game.
#49ers LT Trent Williams' right foot is in a walking boot after this one. He said he toughed it out after the injury because he didn't want to put his team or Jaylon Moore in a tough spot against Myles Garrett.

The 49ers left the game more banged up than they've been all season. Alongside Williams, the team lost running back Christian McCaffrey (oblique/rib) and wide receiver Deebo Samuel (shoulder). Samuel's X-rays were reportedly negative, but the receiver appeared to be in significant pain after the game and will undergo an MRI.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan had no updates on either player during his post-game press conference. He added that safety George Odum sustained a thigh injury. We'll likely learn more about the significance of everyone's injuries on Monday.
