San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan provided injury updates following the team's 21-20 win over the Denver Broncos on Saturday night.

Wide receiver Danny Gray suffered a shoulder injury, with the coach later clarifying that it was a "possible collarbone" injury. He will be examined further to determine the extent of the injury.

Gray was getting a chance as a returner on special teams with wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud recovering from a broken wrist.

Shanahan provided the following additional updates:

  • DL Kerry Hyder exited with a stinger
  • RB Jeremy McNichols exited with a hamstring injury

The Niners will close out the preseason on Friday, August 25, against the Los Angeles Chargers at Levi's Stadium. The team will open the regular season on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 10.
