Day 10 of the San Francisco 49ers training camp is officially over and the team will head to Las Vegas for joint practices with the Raiders prior to their preseason matchup on Sunday.
It was a dominant day for the defense, who recorded a whopping ten sacks, while the 49ers' quarterbacks underwhelmed, leaving a sour taste in fans' mouths as training camp comes to an end.
Here were the standout players from Day 10, which I talked about in-depth when recapping the day of practice on our podcast down below.

DT T.Y. McGill
When there are ten sacks on only 33 dropbacks, the defensive line is bound to get some praise, and T.Y. McGill starts us off as a standout on Day 10 of 49ers training camp.
McGill started his day off with two wins in 1-on-1 reps, which translated to 11-on-11s, as McGill got a sack on Brandon Allen, easily beating Joey Fisher with the third-team defense before recording a run stop on undrafted rookie Ronald Awatt during the move-the-ball period.
McGill is making a strong case to earn a spot once again on the 53-man roster after being a midseason acquisition last year, working well as a pass rusher and solidifying himself as a top backup on the team at defensive tackle.
LB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles
Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles had himself a day.
The former undrafted free agent kicked off his day with an interception of Trey Lance—although I didn't count it due to the quarterback already having been sacked, but nonetheless, still a good play from the 49ers linebacker.
Then, Flannigan-Fowles got his hands on another pass in the redzone period, nearly picking off Sam Darnold, but was unable to corral it in and settled for an incompletion.
The linebacker battle for the final spots on the roster will likely carry into the preseason, where Flannigan-Fowles, best known for his special teams ability, will get more chances to showcase his talents as a true linebacker, potentially leading to a surprise 53-man roster spot or even a potential trade elsewhere.
DE Austin Bryant
Austin Bryant was an early standout at training camp, arguably looking like the best defensive end on the team over Drake Jackson before sustaining an injury that kept him out for the past week.
Well, the free agent signing made his return on Monday and absolutely ate against the second-team offensive line. Bryant recorded three sacks in team drills—two against right tackle Matt Pryor and another on left tackle Leroy Watson, working his way to the quarterback consistently.
If Bryant can showcase his pass-rushing skills in the preseason, he would make a strong argument to earn a 53-man roster spot with the 49ers as a backup defensive end.
WR Isaiah Winstead
With the amount of talent that the 49ers have at wide receiver, it's been tough for undrafted free agent Isaiah Winstead to earn reps, especially with players competing at the bottom of the roster.
However, on Monday, he certainly made the most of his opportunities, as he won all five of his 1-on-1 reps, including a nasty move against backup cornerback Ambry Thomas, showcasing his talents as a route runner.
It'll be tough for Winstead to unseat other players for a spot on the 53-man roster, but he may have been another good undrafted free agent find for the 49ers that could be in line for a roster spot down the road.
DE Clelin Ferrell
Throughout training camp, I've been fairly critical of what I've seen out of defensive end Clelin Ferrell, as he consistently struggles in 1-on-1 reps, while showing limited flashes as a pass rusher in team drills, having me even question if he should be considered a lock to make the roster.
However, Monday was Ferrell's best day of camp, as he had a nice rep against Trent Williams to begin in 1-on-1s before combining with Arik Armstead for sacks on two separate occasions in team drills. Not to mention, Ferrell had a nice rep in the run game, stuffing a Christian McCaffrey run to the left side while shedding a Trent Williams block for the play.
Now, Ferrell's next test comes in the preseason, where he'll continue to compete against a talented and deep defensive line room for the potential of getting more reps as the season starts.
