The San Francisco 49ers have released the list of inactive players for their Week 5 matchup on the road against the Carolina Panthers. These players will not suit up for Sunday's game.
On Friday, the 49ers ruled out defensive linemen Arik Armstead and Javon Kinlaw. In addition, running back Tyrion Davis-Price, tight end Tyler Kroft, and tackle Trent Williams are recovering from lengthier injuries. Defensive back Tarvarius Moore suffered his hamstring injury during Week 3 against the Denver Broncos.
On Saturday, the 49ers activated safety Jimmie Ward from the injured reserve list, making him available to suit up against the Panthers. He is active. The team also placed offensive lineman Colton McKivitz (knee) on injured reserve while promoting defensive tackle Akeem Spence and elevating wide receiver Malik Turner and running back Tevin Coleman from the practice squad.
