San Francisco 49ers right tackle Mike McGlinchey trolled Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey. No, not after the game. It was during the game, about a second after wide receiver Deebo Samuel crossed into the end zone during his 57-yard touchdown catch and run.
In the video below, you can see McGlinchey running up to the Rams cornerback and pointing toward Samuel after Ramsey failed to bring down the elusive wideout. Whatever McGlinchey said must not have been appreciated because Ramsey proceeded to push the offensive lineman away.
One can only wonder what McGlinchey told Ramsey at that moment.
Samuel hilariously commented on Ramsey's failed tackle attempt.
"Yeah, I don't know what he was doing out there," Samuel said after the game when asked about the Rams cornerback on the play. "I just went right by him. He was just backpedaling."
A confused but delighted Samuel added, "I was like, 'What's going on?'"
Samuel finished the game with six receptions for 115 yards and the score. You can watch his touchdown catch and run below. Monday night's 24-9 win by the 49ers was their seventh consecutive regular-season victory against the Rams.
