49ers-Bears: Rookie CB Deommodore Lenoir ruled out

San Francisco 49ers cornerback Deommodore Lenoir has been ruled out of Sunday's road game against the Chicago Bears for personal reasons. He did not travel with the team on Friday. The initial plan was for Lenoir to join his teammates later.


Lenoir, a rookie, was inactive last weekend against the Indianapolis Colts.

Earlier today, both linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair (concussion) and defensive end Dee Ford (concussion) were downgraded from "doubtful" to "out."

The San Francisco 49ers announced that they have activated cornerback Deommodore Lenoir off the reserve/COVID-19 list. The team had six players on the list last week. All except Lenoir were activated in time for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams. Although, cornerback K'Waun Williams did not yet feel well enough to play, and was inactive. On Monday, head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters that no one had reached out to the San Francisco 49ers to request an interview with a member of the team's staff.
