Quarterback Josh Rosen was on three NFL different NFL teams before signing with the San Francisco 49ers on December 22, 2020. It sounds like he won't add a fifth to his resume just yet. NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo reports that the Niners have decided to bring back Rosen and will officially tender an offer to him soon. The quarterback was scheduled to become an exclusive-rights free agent.
Another QB note to add here: The #49ers are bringing back QB Josh Rosen, source says. Rosen, who spent most of this season on the #Buccaneers' practice squad, was an exclusive rights free agent, so it was up to the team to tender him an offer. They'll officially do that soon.
Update: On Monday, the 49ers officially announced the signing of Rosen to a one-year deal.

Rosen did not play in either of the 49ers' final two games of the season but practiced with the team in Glendale, Arizona, and was active for both matchups.
The Arizona Cardinals drafted Rosen out of UCLA with the No. 10 overall pick in 2018. He last played with the Miami Dolphins during the 2019 season, completing 58-of-109 passes for 567 yards with a touchdown and five interceptions through six games.
Rosen, 23, has completed 54.8 percent of his passes for 2,845 yards with 12 touchdowns and 19 interceptions through his first two NFL seasons.
