The San Francisco 49ers reported a visit with defensive lineman Damontre Moore, according to Howard Balzer of 590 The Fan. It is unknown if Moore visited virtually or in some other way. The team could simply be checking on the defensive lineman, should there be a need to add him during the season.
Bengals reported visits today with QB Brandon Allen and K Tristan Vizcaino. 49ers reported visit with DE Damontre Moore.
Moore spent part of last season with San Francisco. After an offseason with the 49ers, the team re-signed him to a one-year deal on November 13, 2019. He fractured his forearm on November 24, 2019, during a Week 12 victory against the Green Bay Packers, and landed on injured reserve.
Moore became an unrestricted free agent in March. He recorded five tackles, a quarterback hit, and a forced fumble last season through two games with San Francisco.
A former third-round pick by the New York Giants in 2013, Moore has also played for the Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys, and Oakland Raiders. He spent time last year with the San Diego Fleet of the now-defunct Alliance of American Football league during the startup's abbreviated inaugural season before joining the 49ers.
