The San Francisco 49ers made their second trade of Round 1 and moved up from the No. 31 overall pick to No. 25 to select wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk of Arizona State. He joins a roster that lost veteran wideout Emmanuel Sanders in free agency.
Below are some of the reactions from Aiyuk's new 49ers teammates following the selection.
The trade, once again, leaves the 49ers without a selection during the second day of the draft. The team had acquired a fourth-round pick in a trade down from No. 13 overall but gave up the selection in the deal to move up for Aiyuk.
San Francisco's next selection will be in the fifth round at No. 156 overall, assuming there are no other trades.
