Nick Bosa, George Kittle among four 49ers leading their positions in 2020 Pro Bowl fan voting

Nov 21, 2019 at 8:28 AM--

Keep voting, Niner Faithful. Four of your San Francisco 49ers are leading their positions in 2020 Pro Bowl fan voting. Winning football games will always garner more fan attention, and the 49ers, 9-1, are tied with the New England Patriots for having won the most in the NFL this season.

Below are the San Francisco players who currently lead the voting at their positions, according to a press release from the NFL.

Player Pos Votes
Kyle Juszczyk FB 87,534
George Kittle TE 59,958
Nick Bosa DE 72,506
Richard Sherman CB 42,889

Bosa, a rookie, has racked up 32 tackles, seven sacks, a pass defensed, an interception, and a forced fumble through 10 games. His 72,506 votes are the most by any NFC defensive player.

The 2020 Pro Bowl would be Kittle's second. Juszczyk has been to three while Sherman has been to four.

The 49ers, as a team, are ranked No. 2 when it comes to total votes. Only the Baltimore Ravens have earned more votes than San Francisco. A lot of that is due to the league's top vote-getter, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who has received 146,171 votes. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes comes in second with 116,325 while Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson rounds out the top 3 with 115,370.

Fans can vote online via the NFL's official Pro Bowl ballot site. They can also vote via Twitter by tweeting the first and last name of the player or their official Twitter handle plus the hashtag #ProBowlVote. So tweeting out "Nick Bosa #ProBowlVote" or "@nbsmallerbear #ProBowlVote" will vote for the 49ers rookie defender.

The Pro Bowl will be played on January 26, 2020, at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.

You can't discuss the NFL's best tight end without including George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers. He has recorded back-to-back seasons of over 1,000 yards receiving, getting into the end zone 10 times during that span, and set a new NFL single-season record for receiving yards by a tight end in 2018 with 1,377. Kittle is pretty good. So is Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs. The two find themselves listed as the only Tier-1 players within Pro Football Focus' rankings of the best fantasy football tight ends. The tier is reserved for players who possess elite talent and utilization. "Both Kelce and Kittle are the consensus top two

Nick Bosa responds to the question on every 49ers fan's mind: Were you held on 3rd-and-15?

By David Bonilla
Aug 6, 2020

The play changed the course of the game. The Kansas City Chiefs converted a much-needed 3rd-and-15 from their own 35-yard line in the fourth quarter. Just like that, momentum shifted. San Francisco 49ers fans know how things ended. The Chiefs ended up walking away with the Lombardi Trophy while the Niners walked away with heartache. Many fans have seen the play over and over. Not intentionally, necessarily. For a while, that's all that was being shown on NFL Network. Fans will quickly point to defensive end Nick Bosa set on a collision course with quarterback Patrick Mahomes, though. Eric Fisher wrapped both arms around the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year as he was closing in on the sack. Was Bosa held? The defender was asked that
