The exclusive club of undefeated NFL teams just booted out another member after the Indianapolis Colts knocked off the Kansas City Chiefs 19-13 on Sunday night. The Chiefs were 4-0 entering the game and were 10.5-point favorites at kickoff.
The Niners (3-0) and the New England Patriots (5-0) are now the last remaining undefeated NFL teams.
The Patriots beat the Washington Redskins 33-7 on Sunday while the 49ers host the Cleveland Browns (2-2) at Levi's Stadium on Monday night. At the time of this post, San Francisco is a five-point favorite.
The 49ers are hoping for their first 4-0 start since 1990, and a win against the visiting Browns would give the team some credibility among the national media.
"Everybody is going to have an impression of us after this game," rookie defensive end Nick Bosa said on Saturday via Bay Area News Group. "We want it to be a 4-0 good impression, not as a 'fake, undefeated team' like people are kind of saying now."
