Preseason Week 1: How to watch or listen to Cowboys at 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers will host the Dallas Cowboys at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Saturday, August 10 at 6:00 p.m. PT.

The game will be broadcast live simultaneously on KPIX 5 in the Bay Area and on NFL Network nationally. You can also watch online via NFL Game Pass, which requires a subscription.

Emmanuel Moseley offers this advice to undrafted players who won't have a preseason

San Francisco 49ers cornerback Emmanuel Moseley wasn't drafted, so he had to fight harder to prove himself during his rookie offseason in 2018. The hard work earned him a spot on the team's practice squad, and he was eventually promoted to the active roster for a game against the Oakland Raiders. But a shoulder injury landed him on injured reserve. Moseley earned a spot on the 53-man roster last year, thanks to a strong offseason and preseason. He is grateful for the opportunities to prove himself and realizes incoming undrafted rookies may not have the same chance this year. ESPN ranks one 49ers defensive unit as the best in the NFL, another as one to watch

Mike Clay of ESPN continued his annual tradition of ranking each positional group for all 32 NFL teams, looking at 10 key offensive and defensive positions. During the process, he also commented on each category's best, shakiest, and "on the rise" groups, along with the ones to watch. The strength of the San Francisco 49ers defense last season — its edge rushers — came in as Clay's best in the game when compared to those from around the league.
