Since before the San Francisco 49ers made defensive end Nick Bosa the No. 2 overall pick in this year's draft, there was some concern surrounding how well he would be accepted into the team's locker room. Bosa, after all, admits to using poor judgment when it comes to his social media activity.

Then there was Bosa's past vocal support of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and the pass rusher's criticism of Colin Kaepernick after the former 49ers quarterback knelt during the national anthem in protest of social injustice.

The concerns surrounding Bosa's fit have mostly evaporated. His new teammates have had nothing but good things to say about the rookie pass rusher — even those with differing political opinions. The latest example is safety Antone Exum Jr., who was recently approached by TMZ.

TMZ writes:

"Antone Exum -- a strong Colin Kaepernick supporter and current 49ers DB -- says he has absolutely NO ISSUE with his new teammate, Nick Bosa ... telling TMZ Sports he "loves" the S.F. rookie!!!"

Exum has gotten to know Bosa during the 49ers' offseason program and has spent time with the rookie off the practice field. As many on the team have stated, they will judge Bosa by how good a teammate he is and his play on the football field, not his political views.

"There will be no animosity as long as he's rushing that quarterback," Exum told TMZ while laughing. "People have different political views. He's still is a good-hearted guy. I've been with him, I've been beside him. I've worked out with him and talked to him. He's a good guy."

Exum also said he wouldn't mind sitting down with President Trump to discuss the topics important to him.

"If I can spark the mind, and encourage people, and inspire them to have a different perspective or be open to a new perspective, move them with love, equality, and peace, then I'll sit down (with the President)," Exum said.

"One thing about Trump is he's honest," Exum added. "So I'd like to hear where his honesty is coming from, and I'd like to share some of my honesty with him."

Exum also admits that Bosa challenged him to stop eating eggs after learning the safety is a vegetarian.

"I did my research," Exum said. "Now I only eat cage-free, unfertilized eggs."
