The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 12 contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
Wednesday injury notes:
Guard Joshua Garnett was absent from practice. He had surgery on his broken thumb on November 13. Garnett will not be placed on injured reserve, according to general manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan.
Wide receiver Pierre Garçon did not practice after missing Monday's session. Garçon was initially supposed to be limited during Wednesday's practice.
Wide receiver Marquise Goodwin returned to practice after being excused from Monday's session.
Linebacker Reuben Foster was limited on Monday and again on Wednesday.
A crutch-free quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was seen observing practice.
