The winless San Francisco 49ers (0-3) have not been favored in a game this season and that will not change on Sunday when they travel to Glendale, Arizona to face the Cardinals (1-2).
Arizona opened the week as 7.5-point favorites over the visiting 49ers with an over/under listed at 44.5, according to Yahoo! Sports. Other sources have the 49ers listed as anywhere from 6- to 7.5-point underdogs.
The Cardinals have won four straight games against the 49ers dating back to September 27, 2015. The 49ers' last win against Arizona came on December 28, 2014, when they beat the Cardinals 20-17 at Levi's Stadium. Their last road victory against Arizona came on December 29, 2013, when they won 23-20 at University of Phoenix Stadium.
The Cardinals lost 28-17 to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night and will now begin preparing to play on Sunday against the 49ers, who will be well-rested not having played a game in 10 days. The 49ers are coming off of a thrilling yet disappointing 41-39 Thursday night home loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Kickoff between the two teams will be at 1:05 p.m. PT.
