49ers set to sign WR Aldrick Robinson to 2-year deal

The San Francisco 49ers appear set to sign former Atlanta Falcons WR Aldrick Robinson, per Mike Garafolo of NFL Media. The deal will reportedly be for two years and worth up to $6 million.


Robinson was a sixth-round selection out of SMU by the Washington Redskins in the 2011 NFL Draft. In addition to playing for Shanahan last year, Robinson spent his first two seasons in the NFL playing within Shanahan's offense in Washington. In 2016, Robinson played in 16 games, starting just one, and had 20 receptions for 323 yards and two touchdowns.

Over Robinson's career, he has 50 receptions for 931 yards and seven touchdowns.

The San Francisco 49ers announced that the team has signed former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nate Sudfeld to a one-year deal. The Washington Football Team made Sudfeld a sixth-round selection out of Indiana in 2016. He signed with the Eagles practice squad before the 2017 season. The team is expected to draft a quarterback with the No. 3 overall pick, which they acquired on March 26 via a trade with the Miami Dolphins. Details emerge on Zach Kerr's one-year contract with 49ers

Last week, the San Francisco 49ers signed defensive lineman Zach Kerr to a one-year deal. OverTheCap.com provided the contract details, for those who are interested. Kerr's deal includes a base salary of $1.075 million with a signing bonus of $50,000 and a total per-game roster bonus of $87,500. $200,000 of the deal is guaranteed.
