49ers set to sign WR Aldrick Robinson to 2-year deal

The San Francisco 49ers appear set to sign former Atlanta Falcons WR Aldrick Robinson, per Mike Garafolo of NFL Media. The deal will reportedly be for two years and worth up to $6 million.


Robinson was a sixth-round selection out of SMU by the Washington Redskins in the 2011 NFL Draft. In addition to playing for Shanahan last year, Robinson spent his first two seasons in the NFL playing within Shanahan's offense in Washington. In 2016, Robinson played in 16 games, starting just one, and had 20 receptions for 323 yards and two touchdowns.

Over Robinson's career, he has 50 receptions for 931 yards and seven touchdowns.
