49ers set to sign WR Aldrick Robinson to 2-year deal
The San Francisco 49ers appear set to sign former Atlanta Falcons WR Aldrick Robinson, per Mike Garafolo
of NFL Media. The deal will reportedly be for two years and worth up to $6 million.
Robinson was a sixth-round selection out of SMU by the Washington Redskins in the 2011 NFL Draft. In addition to playing for Shanahan last year, Robinson spent his first two seasons in the NFL playing within Shanahan's offense in Washington. In 2016, Robinson played in 16 games, starting just one, and had 20 receptions for 323 yards and two touchdowns.
Over Robinson's career, he has 50 receptions for 931 yards and seven touchdowns.

49ers set to take over ownership of Leeds United
According to Phil Hay of The Athletic, the San Francisco 49ers are set to take over ownership of Leeds United, the professional English football club based in Leeds, West Yorkshire in England.
"Leeds United are finally set for new ownership after talks over the past 24 hours sealed an agreement for Andrea Radrizzani to sell his majority stake in the club to 49ers Enterprises," wrote Hay. "The two sides publicly announced a deal on Friday, allowing 49ers Enterprises to begin the process of officially ratify its long-awaited buy-out.

Over the offseason, there has been significant talk surrounding the San Francisco 49ers and their quarterbacks, especially after the team signed Sam Darnold in free agency, providing them three capable options with starting experience in the former Carolina Panther, Brock Purdy, and Trey Lance.
Purdy is evidently the leader in the clubhouse, as stated by general manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan several times this offseason, but many have pointed out his flaws, such as the inability to make throws downfield, as a reason why one of the other quarterbacks could win over the starting job with a strong performance in organized team activities(OTAs) and training camp.
