The 49ers on Thursday unveiled the franchise's first alternate jersey to the players who lobbied for the change.The team's alternate jersey, which can be worn up to two games per season, looks a lot like what quarterback Colin Kaepernick has fashioned on the practice field since August 2013.The jersey, which the 49ers displayed on their Snapchat account, is black with red numbers. The new uniform, including black pants, was shown to the team after Thursday morning practice on the final day of a voluntary three-day minicamp.After the full uniforms were modeled by Colin Kaepernick, Vernon Davis, Joe Staley, NaVorro Bowman and Eric Reid during the team's draft party on Thursday night. Coach Jim Tomsula remarked on how the all-black look makes the team's bigger players look svelte."I told the O-line and D-line, 'You'll look thin,'" Tomsula said. "I'm always talking to the equipment guy. When you go white, think marshmallow. When you go red, you're thinking tomato when you're putting it on a guy that's 5-11. I'm a little heavy right now.
