San Francisco 49ers CB Jimmie Ward has been ruled out for his third straight game. Look for Rashard Robinson to once again start in his place. Having played in 180 snaps this season, Robinson is the 49ers' highest-graded cornerback, per advanced statistics site Pro Football Focus. In fact, he is the team's highest-graded player period, not counting ILB NaVorro Bowman, who is out for the season with a torn Achilles.
Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area has reported that Ward could return after the bye week.
