According to Mike Silver of Sports Illustrated, there will be no decision from Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson tonight. Silver, who spoke to Jackson, says that there are no offers from either the San Francisco 49ers or the Cleveland Browns. Jackson met with both today for their head coaching vacancies.

Earlier today, Kyle McLorg of Bay Area Sports Guy reported that, according to a source, Jackson becoming the 49ers' 20th head coach is a "done deal." We'll likely find out of that is true tomorrow or in the days that follow. At worst, the report shows that the 49ers have a genuine interest in making Jackson their next head coach.

Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area has said that the five hour long interview between the 49ers and Jackson went "very well."

Jackson spent 2011 as the head coach of the Oakland Raiders before joining the Bengals as their secondary coach in 2012. He became the running backs coach in 2013 and then the offensive coordinator in 2014.
