San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Tomsula said today that the team would indeed hold today's practice at Levi's Stadium.
During last night's practice in front of fans, the media noticed numerous issues with the field sod. Of course, the issue also occurred early last season, with the field needing to be replaced just before a preseason game. The issue was so bad that a practice was stopped by then head coach Jim Harbaugh.
Today's practice, while open to the media, is closed to fans. It is scheduled to begin at 4:15 PM. The team's next fan accessible practice will be on August 9.
The 49ers will practice this evening (it's closed to the public) at Levi's Stadium. The turf is just fine, according to Jim Tomsula.

Jim Tomsula says today's practice will be held at Levi's Stadium. Grass was rolled last night, not considered unsafe.
