The 49ers' stirring 41-34 victory over former No. 1 New England wasn't quite enough to move San Francisco from third to the top in the Associated Press Pro32 NFL power rankings this week, but it did push the Niners up to second and within three points of the top spot now occupied by new No. 1 Denver.
