One of my old co-workers is from Michigan and a hardcore Tigers fan. He goes to Tigers games all around the country. Last year he went to the Coliseum for the ALDS, and AT&T Park for the World Series vs the Tigers. His words:

"I've been to tons of baseball parks for playoff games, but the loudest stadium was your Oakland Coliseum... and it wasn't even close."

I think Verlander and a couple other tigers players said the same thing
