didn't he originally come up through their system and then trade him to the Rays?

Came up through the Yankees system but was a Dodger before they traded him to the Rays.

yeah..the red sox are loaded

Their pitching is still an issue especially with their health and with Papelbon struggles last season.

Beckett has blister issues more then any other pitcher in the league and was garbage last year, Dice K has had only one good season in Boston, Lackey struggled in his first season in Boston, and Papelbon seems to have been figured out by hitters last season.

Lester and Buchholz are the only two guys I'm really worried about next year unless Beckett and Lackey have comeback seasons.

How so? Boston is having a great off season but they still have weaknesses in their roster and we still are in the running for Lee and possibly Grienke.

Oh I agree completely I'm not even sure we'll make the playoffs next year with such an aged roster and iffy pitching. I was just saying that Boston has plenty of issues to work out before everyone starts crowning them the champs in 2011. Anything can happen, I'm sure 99.9% of the country didn't think the Giants were gonna win this year.
