Crawford got his bank. He needs to send a thank you card to Werth.

7 years 142 mil to the BoSox. Can you say Championship?

WOW.

If they don't win the world series it would be a bigger fail than the '01 Yankees.

Giants/RedSox 2011 world series

Would be great! Me and the gf might have to sleep in separate rooms though

Dodgers Agree To Sign Dioner Navarro

The Dodgers agreed to sign Dioner Navarro, according to Dylan Hernandez of the LA Times (on Twitter). The deal is pending a physical. The Rays non-tendered the former Dodger last week after his tenure in Tampa Bay ended on a sour note.

didn't he originally come up through their system and then trade him to the Rays?

Came up through the Yankees system but was a Dodger before they traded him to the Rays.

Their pitching is still an issue especially with their health and with Papelbon struggles last season.

Because stacked lineups always win championships. Isnt that right Texas?

The Yankees and Angels just died a thousand deaths.

Beckett has blister issues more then any other pitcher in the league and was garbage last year, Dice K has had only one good season in Boston, Lackey struggled in his first season in Boston, and Papelbon seems to have been figured out by hitters last season.

Lester and Buchholz are the only two guys I'm really worried about next year unless Beckett and Lackey have comeback seasons.

RedSox in 2011

1) Ellsbury CF
2) Pedroia 2b
3) Crawford LF
4) Gonzalez 1b
5) Youkillis 3b
6) Ortiz DH
7) Drew RF
8) Varitek (or a FA) C
9) Scuturo,Lowrie SS

That is one SICK lineup

Add that to:
1) Lester
2) Beckett
3) Buchholz
4) Lackey
5) Matuzaka

WOW.. Thank GOD the Giants won this year

How so? Boston is having a great off season but they still have weaknesses in their roster and we still are in the running for Lee and possibly Grienke.

There is ZERO chance you are going to get both Greinke and Lee. If Cliff Lee stays in Texas the Yanks are f**ked. That rotation will be in shambles

Oh I agree completely I'm not even sure we'll make the playoffs next year with such an aged roster and iffy pitching. I was just saying that Boston has plenty of issues to work out before everyone starts crowning them the champs in 2011. Anything can happen, I'm sure 99.9% of the country didn't think the Giants were gonna win this year.
