Would the Niners be more motivated to host a final game let alone an NFC Championship game in San Francisco? Or would the Panthers be just as motivated to host their own NFC Champtionship game?

I think this favors the Niners more because of the history and legacy behind the Stick.

Sure it would be a motivating factor for both teams. However, their immediate attention will be the team in front of them. The big question for the Panthers is how will they react to playoff pressure. We know how the 49ers will react.
