Kyle Williams

This guy made some plays but also made some blunders during the season. I recall him fumbling in the regular season as well and also making mental errors (SEA game where he fell down and gave up and was blasted by MROB).

He had an AWFUL game at Seattle on special teams... Made risky diving catches on punt returns, and yeah the play you mentioned. I didn't forget those mishaps before the Giants game.....

Yup, When the amount of blunders = the amount of good plays, that is not good.
- add to that, there was a game where he tried to be cute and 1-hand a sideline pass... which is cool when it works, but when it costs us first downs? Not so much.

- He was also responsible for at least one of those back-to-back "pick" plays that cost us another drive. (NFCCG)

So the mistakes were certainly abundant... but he did show flashes as well. Bottom line... jury's still out.

After that Seattle game, I didn't feel comfortable with him at all on special teams. But had no issues when he was in at Wide Receiver. I always had an ancy, on-the-edge-of-my-seat kinda feeling when he would wave his hand to return punts, but never did I expect what happened in the NFCC

Yeah me to. He made some blunders during the regular season, but never cost us a game.

Then he cost us a superbowl.... A f**king superbowl....

^ guys, I think it's somewhere in the middle here.

Kyle has shown great hands at times to pluck the ball... occasionally better than most of the receivers we have had (which isn't saying that much).

He also has a whole lot more to prove before calling him special. Right now, I view him as quality depth at the # 3 thru # 5 spot.

We can't fairly call him special or great... we can't fairly call him teh suxxorz...

No one is calling him special. I'm just saying he's the most complete receiver we have and because of that, he will be used often. We signed Mario and Moss to give us primarily deep threat speed, but neither of these guys have proven to be underneath guys. Crabtree needs to prove he can play faster. Ginn is anything but a complete receiver. AJ can't even show RAC in his highlights so he has to prove it.

Kyle is the only receiver we have that has shown all facets of the position ie., complete.

Luckily I knew he wasn't COMPLETELY useless..And didn't call for his head. Yes I was pissed after the game, in shock, but I hadn't lost all rational thought. Some people on the other hand, (as we all know) did want his head along with his family's

As long as it is not a play-off game it is fine.
