I could see Ginn not being back next year if they believe Williams can tak over the return duties without any drop off, and today that's what it looked like.
People will say that until Kyle Williams loses a few fumbles. Ball security...to me it's a lot more important for a returner who doesn't fumble the ball. There's already been a few close calls in two games. God forbid, we're in a close playoff game and someone other than Ginn coughs it up deep in our own territory. I'm not saying Ginn is perfect, but he's the most dependable, experienced and sound returner that we have. If the game is on the line, I want Ginn back there.

More weather than. Nerves I can bet thst was his first time receiving punts in the rain. First one in 4th quarter was no excuse. Shoulda gotten away from the ball. The OT one stuff happens.. at the end of the day.. Alex and the offense had 2 chances to win .. didn't happen .. Kyle becomes the goat.. but if we step up on 3rd downs or with 20 secs go down field to give akers a chance to win before OT possibly never happens .. not saying he isn't at fault saying offense could have done a better job for the situations not to happen or even matter.

This was NOT a weather issue. He held the ball incorrectly - never tucked it in despite having the space and time to do so. Oh well.

He had a few other punts where he had to lunge for the ball to make the catch, anothr one where he caught it then stepped out. Why even be near the ball?? Unless you can field it clean and secure the ball get the frick away from it?
