I would expect Ginn to be resigned, but if some other team overpays, I feel confident about Williams as the return specialist

That was one of the most cowardly things I've ever seen on a football field and I've been watching this game for over 40 years now. What was done to K Williams used to be called "spearing"...or using a helmet as a weapon against a defenseless player. In this case, it was not done by just one player (Robinson) but two.
He looked great as a returner, his average on kickoff and punt returns was fantastic. I really want this guy to do well, he seems like a great person and he has a set of skills that this team could dearly use. I hope he's okay, took a nasty hit on what was basically a cheapshot, but I think he's got a bright future in San Francisco, with him and Crabtree, I feel like the WR core needs maybe one more guy along with Morgan to really be complete and make an explosive group for the future.
In fact, I noticed several late hits by Seattle, especially on special teams...one of them about 3-4 seconds after the play ended...and no calls. Their DBs were hacking the Niner receivers downfield (way past 5 yards) all game and no calls. Blake Costanzo gets a phantom illegal block penalty which wipes out a great punt return and costs the team about 50 yards of field position. Total BS... During the Niners' goal line stand in the first half, the Seattle OLmen was literally tackling the Niner LBs. I saw several instances of this. No call. One of Seattle's special teams guys make a blatant attempt to climb a player to block a FG and no call. If that were called, the Niners have a first down at the Seattle 11 yard line. Nothing.
Then, after the officiating had been ridiculously one-sided the entire game, Pete Carroll has the audacity and the nerve to b*tch about two calls that his team didn't get... The first was a non-call on a false start that his own guard committed near the Niner goal line and the second was a "push off" that Crabtree allegedly committed on that long pass at the end of the game which set up the winning FG.
Man...I'll tell you...what little respect I had for Carroll went out the window during this game. His team is a bunch of cheap-shot artists and he is a whining little baby. I hope this gets back to the Seattle forum because their fans (most of them have class by the way) need to know that they are rooting for a dirty team.

Williams downed himself on that play.
The hit was illegal.

Well he slipped but was not touched.

Doesnt matter. as soon as a player gives themselves up, it is illegal to hit him. If he had enough time to get up, and smack the ball in frustration of falling, that is enough time for an opposing player to keep from diving at him, helmet first.

I think he is a better PR then Ginn. Every time he gets a chance, he has a breakout game, then follows it with an injury. It's insane the way his career has been.
Ginn has more breakaway speed but I think Williams is more elusive.
I really want to see Williams as our #3 WR next year (Morgan and Crabs as our starting two).
Williams >>>>>>>>>> Braylon

True, but...he was down on the ground and not even attempting to get up. All a defender had to do is run over and tag him and the play is over. What really happened? Two defenders run full bore into Williams and spear him with their helmets. I will say it again. That was one of the most cowardly displays on a football field I have seen in 41 years of watching the NFL. For that day anyway, "Seachickens" would have been a more descriptive moniker for that team.
