Kyle Williams

draft pick, crabtree, Williams, Morgan, Ginn---should be the 5 WR's next season---free agent ? maybe--leave that up to Baalke and Harbaugh

We need all out guys for the long haul!

Agreed. It's nice to have some depth at returner and not find ourselves in the position we were in last season. We need to keep that depth. With that said, I like the core of Crabtree, Morgan, Williams, Ginn, and a rookie next season. I look forward to the day where we can do some serious damage in the passing game.

Mix that group with Davis and Walker and I can easily see this being a top 10 offense. This will be he most highly anticipated offseason since 2007.

Crabtree is turning into a real number 1... Morgan is solid #2, and Williams is a very good backup/#3 , Ginn needs to stay here in SF he is a top 5 returner and adds value as a #4 or 5 receiver, plus is nice on end arounds and getting deep.

People will say that until Kyle Williams loses a few fumbles. Ball security...to me it's a lot more important for a returner who doesn't fumble the ball. There's already been a few close calls in two games. God forbid, we're in a close playoff game and someone other than Ginn coughs it up deep in our own territory. I'm not saying Ginn is perfect, but he's the most dependable, experienced and sound returner that we have. If the game is on the line, I want Ginn back there.

He looked great as a returner, his average on kickoff and punt returns was fantastic. I really want this guy to do well, he seems like a great person and he has a set of skills that this team could dearly use. I hope he's okay, took a nasty hit on what was basically a cheapshot, but I think he's got a bright future in San Francisco, with him and Crabtree, I feel like the WR core needs maybe one more guy along with Morgan to really be complete and make an explosive group for the future.
It wasn't "basically a cheapshot"... That was one of the most cowardly things I've ever seen on a football field and I've been watching this game for over 40 years now. What was done to K Williams used to be called "spearing"...or using a helmet as a weapon against a defenseless player. In this case, it was not done by just one player (Robinson) but two.

In fact, I noticed several late hits by Seattle, especially on special teams...one of them on the first play of the game which prompted the first scuffle and a later one which occurred about 3-4 seconds after the play ended...and no calls. Their DBs were hacking the Niner receivers downfield (way past 5 yards) all game and no calls. STer Blake Costanzo gets a phantom illegal block penalty which wipes out a great punt return and costs the team about 50 yards of field position. Total BS...

Also, during the Niners' goal line stand in the first half, the Seattle OLmen were literally tackling the Niner LBs. I saw several instances of this. Not one call. In the second half, one of Seattle's special teams guys make a blatant attempt to climb a player to block a FG and no call. If that were called, the Niners would have had a first down at the Seattle 11 yard line. Nothing.

Then, after the officiating had been ridiculously one-sided the entire game, Pete Carroll had the audacity and the nerve to b*tch about two calls that his team didn't get... The first was a non-call on a false start that his own guard committed near the Niner goal line and the second was a "push off" that Crabtree allegedly committed on that long pass at the end of the game which set up the winning FG.

Man...I'll tell you...what little respect I had for Carroll went out the window during this game. His team is a bunch of cheap-shot artists and he is a whining little baby. I hope this gets back to the Seattle forum because their fans (most of them have class by the way) need to know that they are rooting for a dirty team.

He's very impressive in every way. He has great hands, excellent quickness, very good speed and he is a hard worker and team player. He will do any and all things you ask of him and never complain. Be a 3rd or 4th WR off the bench. Be a kick or punt returner when you have injuries. Move into the starting lineup once in a while when there are WR injuries. He is good at everything he does. And he is very versatile. How can you not like him? We need more guys like him.

I know that it is off topic but totally agree, I was watching the game here in the uk and I couldn't believe the officiating, so much so thatbi was surprised that they called the personal foul on the hit on Kyle Williams! The other call I'd highlight was the pass interference call on Brown! He played that as clean and the receiver slipped and they threw the flag on Brown and that was worth 25yards plus. I thought the calls were very home bias and I was questioning whether the officiating crew was from New Orleans!!

Sorry about being off-topic Zoners! I just had to say this. I was worried after Williams got hit that he was seriously injured, perhaps even paralyzed. I love Kyle Williams as a player. He just seems to be getting better and better each week. For him to go down on a blatant cheap shot just makes me furious.

I hope the league fines those 2 Seattle players who speared him about 500 grand each and suspends them for about half of next season....because that is what they deserve, the little cowards.

Thanks for the support British!

LOL. What?.... Ginn is probably the best and most dynamic return man we have had in 20 - 30 years. Before him for a string of about a decade we had a bunch of chumps who couldn't even catch the punt or kickoff. Like fumble and give the other team first and goal at the 5 yard line...

Yes. Ginn is a key player. The previous strategy of throwing a late pick receiver at it just didn't work.

Sign him, Baalke!

Yeah he is REAL KEY to what we have done this year. Outstanding defense and special teams has put us in this position. And he's a huge part of it. Plus he's good at the end arounds and taking the top off a defense. I just don't get where people don't think he is important and we can do without him next year. It's astonishing to me.... He gives us the ball at the 50 sometimes. And takes it to the house and wins games. Try replacing that. These guys aren't being realistic. WE NEED GINN BACK!

I like Ginn a lot and think he should be retained, I just think that Kyle Williams is a better option at receiver. He's more quick than fast but has solid hands to make tough catches.
