I think he is a better PR then Ginn. Every time he gets a chance, he has a breakout game, then follows it with an injury. It's insane the way his career has been.

Ginn has more breakaway speed but I think Williams is more elusive.
I really want to see Williams as our #3 WR next year (Morgan and Crabs as our starting two).
Williams >>>>>>>>>> Braylon

What about Morgan? Josh was playing really well before he got hurt. I think Williams fits more as #3 WR in the slot anyways.

I could see Ginn not being back next year if they believe Williams can tak over the return duties without any drop off, and today that's what it looked like.

Only info out there is that "he'll undergo concussion tests during the week" but I'm sure he has bruised ribs as well. I'd hope we rest him against st louis. He needs to heal up for the playoffs.

agree

Ginn has gotten a lot better running routes and catching the ball in traffic. And he is the second best return man iin the nfc, at the least. williams did great subing in for him but his value is larger for our wr corps

Let's not get ahead of ourselves and say dump ginn. Its all about depth people! We need talented guys all over the roster. Hell look at our WR cops now! Ginn and williams may be out, braylon hurt. Not to mention d. Walker, who was takin reps as a WR this past week may be out.
We need all out guys for the long haul!
