Will Singletary get us to the playoffs?

Will Singletary get us to the playoffs?

The cardinals are better than us, so...no.

That's what I'm saying, why are you guys blaming HC, OC when we barely have any damn talent?! The only good players we have are Gore, Willis, J. Smith and THATS IT.

We have decent players like Spikes and Clements, other than that we have s**tty players who we are expecting or wishing to develop into good players, but with our damn luck it's not gonna happen.

And instead of keeping Martz for continuity and seeing our offense actually succeed no we let the guy go.

I really don't know what to expect anymore, I'm just hoping for the best and hope our new players get better. Also I really want to see Sing succeed for some reason

Yes...

...in 2010...

...after we build a dominant defense. That and our top 10 running game, a'la the Tennessee Titans. Thats Sing's plan, anyway.

Maybe?

No doubt he will
Let's see what players he brings in before we make that decision.
This is the last time our season ends in December.....so I'm gonna go with yesssss.

ok, mods, dont lock this. im creating an official poll to keep track of whos with Sing, and whos not with him, since it seems the whole board wants him fired now.

if you think sing will get the 49ers to the playoffs while he is our head coach, vote YES. if you think he wont, or will be fired in the next 2 seasons, vote NO.

time for there to be a track record on the people that like to change their loyalties based on fair weather.

Whoever wants him fired is an idiot.
MS is a good coach/motivator. Play calling and offensive cohesiveness are my concern. Our defense will be better than last year with a few nice additions, maybe a pass rusher, but I still have hopes for Balmer and J. Smith improvement. We need a ball hawking hard hitting instinctual fee safety.

It looks like we are going to be a run first team which means time of possession should be in our favor. If we can draft a home run threat return man or reciever that would be great. I can't get the thought of Gore and Jacobs in the same back field..., with that line up you could put Andy Lee at QB!

Not the way he is going about it.

And how exactly do you define his way of going about it? By not spending a crap load of money on old star players? he's getting players that will fit into our system. we will have allot of rotating in & out on D. Patience. I think he can lead us to the playoffs but this years schedule is pretty freakin hard. i'm feeling 9-7, and a wild card. btu we have to win our divison that's the only way of getting to the playoffs, cause 9-7 ain't going to cut it.

Jacobs? who's that? not Brandon Jacobs?
As much as I would have liked to say yes, with Seattle's signing of Housh and Warner returning to the Cards(running game?), I don't see it. Though I see a better record than we had last season.

With these players we are lucky to get an 8-8 record this year. Look, i want Singeltary to succeed, but this rah rah style and lack of offensive definition and most importantly missing good players in several key positions(QB,WR,OT, DT,SS) wont get us to the playoffs. We missed the boat with the FAs and SM's record in draft is not exactly stellar, what makes you think that we are going9-7? If you think we are going have wining season with this draft, then what happened to last seven years that we've been drafting and not getting anywhere.
