Will Singletary get us to the playoffs?

Will Singletary get us to the playoffs?

But we've had a playmaker in Frank Gore, so which one are you talking about?
The best I can say right now is maybe. The biggest question I have with Singletarry is how is he going to be received by the players after week ten. On the one hand, he's a very inspirational coach and great motivator; but on the other hand, that raw-raw type stuff might not play out in professional football. This is going to be a real question and I honestly think it's a coin-toss right now as to how it's going to shake out. So once again, maybe.
For whatever reason, I think Singletary will have us in the postseason more years than not. I know our track record for our HCs in recent history, but there is something so very different about Singletary than the rest of our failed HCs.

Josh Morgan. Gore is great but doesn't have break away speed.
not if all of our important players get the s**t beat out of them in training camp.

This old school s**t will get old fast. I want to like Mike but he's going to be a hot flame that burns out real quick if he keeps this s**t up.

I feel you there. He gets me motivated and I'm not even on the field. I firmly believe his old school approach will work because all of the New Era shenanigans have not been working. Here's to the intangibles.
