Chad Kelly, nephew of former Buffalo Bills quarterback Jim Kelly, was arrested in Buffalo over the weekend for punching a bouncer in the face and threatening to shoot up the entire bar with an AK-47.

Classy.

Kelly has had no shortage of controversy during his football career. After committing to Clemson in 2012, he tweeted at backup Clemson quarterback Cole Stoudt, "Your on the bench for a reason. And i come soon! Just letting you know."

He spent most of his high school career suspended from his high school team, and he got kicked off the squad at least once. His career at Clemson was short-lived. At halftime of last year's Tigers spring football game, he yelled at his coaches for not going for it on a fourth and short. Following that incident, he was asked to leave the program

The one QB in this next draft class (the only QB really) whom I watched and actually had a couple of "[i]wow[/i]" moments is [b]Chad Kelly[/b] from Ole Miss. He's a known head case w/ off-field problems (even got arrested for fighting outside a bar and getting kicked off of Clemson). And I hesitate to say he's the reason Ole Miss had such a good offense considering their WR / OT situation was better than that of some NFL teams...

That said, it's usually the QB who makes others look better & not the other way around (it is sometimes). Also, he's the only QB to beat Alabama last year. He also seems like he knows exactly what he wants to do with the football and makes it happen really quickly, which is something I liked about Connor Cook.

He's good recognizing blitzes quickly, which is something you can't teach. He's also got the best arm of any of the top QB prospects IMO. He seems like he doesn't panic & throws well under pressure.

I'd like to believe this video both for his sake and for the sake of teams looking for QBs. Hope he's being genuine. I have my doubts.

I look at it this way, Ole Miss is the only school that this guy hasn't been kicked out of since he was a sophomore in high school. He's also been arrested for being involved in a bar fight. A highly talented guy but seems to come with major knucklehead tendencies and an attitude of entitlement.
