ESPN's John Clayton says that the San Francisco 49ers are one of five teams showing interest in free agent wide receiver TJ Houshmandzadeh. However, is Houshmandzadeh interested in San Francisco?
When interviewed live on ESPN, Houshmandzadeh stated that he does not yet know where he will be traveling tonight and is waiting to hear from his agent in the next few minutes. When asked which teams he would be interested in going to, San Francisco was not one of the teams mentioned. However, he did not yet know which teams his agent has spoken with.
In 2008, Houshmandzadeh caught 92 passes for 904 yards and 4 touchdowns with the Cincinnati Bengals. He has had two 1,000+ yard seasons over his 8-year career.

If the San Francisco 49ers decide to trade wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, it's likely to occur within the next four days—before or during Day 1 of the 2024 NFL Draft.
