San Francisco 49ers All-Pro linebacker NaVorro Bowman was a full participant during the team's minicamp practice today, per the San Francisco Chronicle.
#49ers LB NaVorro Bowman, who tore his Achilles on Oct. 2, was a full participant in today's lively minicamp practice.
"Bowman, 28, showed no obvious limitations from the injury during the high-speed session," wrote Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle.
"Bowman roamed the non-contact session looking for the ball and nimbly racing to it," wrote Cam Inman of Bay Area News Group.
With the 2017 NFL Draft just a day away, Bowman's return is huge for the 49ers. The team would love to have a healthy Bowman available for the start of the season and address other positions in the draft. Bowman, the heart of the 49ers defense, suffered a torn Achilles during an October 2 game against the Dallas Cowboys. He was placed on the injured reserve list four days later.
Through the first four games of the season, Bowman had 35 tackles, a sack, an interception, a forced fumble, and two passes defended. In 2015, he was in on 1,126 defensive snaps. 627 of those were against the pass while 499 were against the run. During that time, Bowman compiled 154 tackles – which led the league – 2.5 sacks, and two passes defended.

49ers' Dre Greenlaw on whether Super Bowl practice fields led to injury, rehab status
By David Bonilla

Dre Greenlaw initially thought someone had stepped on his foot as he returned to the football field during Super Bowl 58. The idea that he had suffered a severe injury didn't cross his mind. Even after he made his way onto the sideline, the San Francisco 49ers' star linebacker didn't anticipate exiting the game permanently.
It wasn't until he started trying to put pressure on his foot that he realized more was going on with the injury. Further tests confirmed what the training staff suspected: Greenlaw had torn his Achilles. His absence was a blow for the San Francisco 49ers, who had to continue the game without him.
Ultimately, the 49ers lost Super Bowl 58 to the Kansas City Chiefs in overtime, a devastating defeat for Greenlaw, who watched from the sidelines as
