It was an underwhelming start for the quarterbacks, but Trey Lance finished strong, ending with a deep touchdown pass to Willie Snead on an incredible catch for a touchdown.

Quarterbacks
I broke down every throw that Trey Lance, Sam Darnold, and Brandon Allen threw, both in 7-on-7s and 11-on-11s, grading each of their performances on Day 9 of training camp Saturday.
Running Backs
Christian McCaffrey was one of the lone energetic players on a day of low energy overall, consistently running hard and juicing up the offense with his longer carries.
The running back had four catches on the day, and a variety of good catches that just display why he's as well-regarded as he is. The 49ers have done a good job of managing his load this offseason, and he looks fresh heading into the end of the offseason.
Tyrion Davis-Price continues to impress, earning a spot on my "standouts" list, and he looked the best of the backup running backs on Saturday. It's been a rejuvenation for the backup running back thus far in training camp after a disappointing Year 1. He's looking fresh and poised for an impactful sophomore season.
On a lighter day, there wasn't much else flashy for the running backs on Saturday. Perhaps that changes as camp rounds out on Monday.
Wide Receivers
It was a day for the wide receivers, which is interesting, given it wasn't really a day for the quarterbacks.
To start, Brandon Aiyuk did Brandon Aiyuk-level things, catching three passes, with the fourth pass going incomplete due to an underthrow from Sam Darnold on a play where the wideout was wide open running a corner post route.
Deebo Samuel had another nice downfield play as well, beating Charvarius Ward for the second consecutive day, but faced an overthrow from Trey Lance, leading to an incompletion. The wideout caught both of his other opportunities.
Danny Gray continues to be a standout in camp, improving with his route-running, and his ability was on display, as he easily beat D'Shawn Jamison on a deep route, but the ball was well underthrown from Brandon Allen on a play where the wideout likely scores if hit in stride.
Gray was also seen on an end-around, gaining over 10 yards during move-the-ball, potentially indicating the different ways the 49ers may use him this season.
Each of Ray-Ray McCloud, Tay Martin, and Chris Conley had a positive play on the day as well, marking a really successful day overall for the wideouts.
Tight Ends
After some targets on Friday, it was absolutely a quiet day for the tight ends. George Kittle got one target, and that was an amazing pass breakup from Charvarius Ward.
Apart from that, it was crickets from the tight ends, speaking volumes about the state of the position at the moment.
Offensive Line
The offensive line held up better in 1-on-1s compared to Friday, where they were outmatched, but still, it was an up-and-down day for the group, as they still played second fiddle to their defensive counterparts.
In good news, Jon Feliciano has looked solid, earning first-team snaps at left guard for the second consecutive practice, and looking fine alongside Trent Williams.
Feliciano's the team's best backup interior lineman, and offensive line coach Chris Foerster said that his most comfortable position is center, which is saying something, given the team values him higher than others at guard as well.
Colton McKivitz had an inconsistent day, while the backup offensive line, outside of Leroy Watson, seemed outmatched with the number of creative blitzes that defensive coordinator Steve Wilks threw at them.
