As always, Thursday was an eventful media day for the San Francisco 49ers, who had a number of players speak to the media as well as defensive coordinator DeMeco Ryans and offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel. 49ers Webzone has already dug into a number of topics discussed by those players and coaches, but there's much more to cover than that. Cowboys to host 49ers in Wild-card matchup on Sunday, Jan. 16 at 1:30 PM PT

The San Francisco 49ers rallied to beat the division-rival Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, the last weekend of the regular season. In doing so, head coach Kyle Shanahan's squad punched its ticket into the playoffs. Assuming they won, the 49ers' next opponent was already known, even as they were fighting for the win in overtime. A victory meant a trip to Arlington, Texas, to face the Dallas Cowboys, winners of the NFC East. On Sunday night, the NFL announced the date and time of the 49ers-Cowboys matchup. The two teams will kick off from AT&T Stadium on Sunday, January 16 at 1:30 PM PT (3:30 PM CT). San Francisco finished the season with a 10-7 record. It was just the second time in the past eight years that the 49ers have finished with a winning
