In a move that will certainly throw everyone's mock drafts into chaos, the NFC West rival Los Angeles Rams have moved into the number one spot in this month's NFL Draft following a trade with the Tennessee Titans.

The Rams give up their first-round pick (15th overall), two second round picks, a third round pick, and first and third round picks next year to the Titans, per the Los Angeles Times. The Rams get the Titans' number one overall, a fourth round pick, and a sixth round pick this year.

The trade certainly changes the landscape of the draft. Likely gone will be the two top quarterback prospects in Jared Goff and Carson Wentz to the Rams and the Cleveland Browns – not necessarily in that order. NFL Media's Albert Breer reports the Rams already have conducted on-campus workouts with both quarterbacks.

What this does mean is that a solid non-quarterback prospect may fall to the San Francisco 49ers' pick at seventh overall.

Here is the new updated draft order in the first round.

  1. Rams (From Titans)
  2. Browns
  3. Chargers
  4. Cowboys
  5. Jaguars
  6. Ravens
  7. 49ers
  8. Eagles (From Dolphins)
  9. Buccaneers
  10. Giants
  11. Bears
  12. Saints
  13. Dolphins (From Eagles)
  14. Raiders
  15. Titans (From Rams)
  16. Lions
  17. Falcons
  18. Colts
  19. Bills
  20. Jets
  21. Redskins
  22. Texans
  23. Vikings
  24. Bengals
  25. Steelers
  26. Seahawks
  27. Packers
  28. Chiefs
  29. Cardinals
  30. Panthers
  31. Broncos

Ex-NFL WR advocates for 49ers to trade Brandon Aiyuk: "Let that man be free"

By David Bonilla
Mar 23

Brandon Aiyuk recently hinted that he might consider playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers if the San Francisco 49ers are unwilling to offer him a contract extension at market value and opt to trade him to the AFC team. Of course, that could be a negotiating tactic from Aiyuk's camp as the 49ers work to sign the receiver to a contract extension. That doesn't mean San Francisco isn't willing to talk to interested teams. The team reportedly sought the No. 17 overall pick and a player from the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for Aiyuk, but no deal materialized. 49ers insider Matt Barrows of

By Marc Adams
Mar 24

While rumors have continued to swirl about the possibility of the San Francisco 49ers trading star wide receiver, Brandon Aiyuk, some have held fast to the belief that the 49ers will not trade the player. Teams are calling about Aiyuk. Reportedly, the Jacksonville Jaguars were interested but felt the 49ers asking price was too high. And who could forget the talk of Aiyuk going to Pittsburgh when he fanned the trade rumor flames with a social media post about how he and Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin look alike? (Now that he mentions it, they do kind of look alike.) But when push comes to shove, will the 49ers really consider trading Aiyuk? I suppose if the price is right, they will. But they've invested so much in him, from taking him 25th overall in the 2020 NFL draft to
