49ers sign CB Jamar Taylor, waive CB Teez Tabor

The San Francisco 49ers today announced the signing of cornerback Jamar Taylor to a one-year deal. The team has waived cornerback Teez Tabor with a non-football injury designation to make room on the roster. Tabor (6-0, 201) signed with San Francisco on February 4, after spending the majority of last season on the 49ers' practice squad. The 49ers Communications department provided the following rundown of Taylor. Taylor (5-11, 192) was originally drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the second round (54th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft. Colin Kaepernick partners with ESPN, Disney on docuseries; first project to include time with 49ers

Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick hasn't played a snap of football since the 2016 season. He has been busy, though, working to generate more awareness surrounding racism and social injustice. Netflix announced last week that it is working on a six-episode series with Kaepernick called "Colin in Black & White," which focuses on the high school life of the former 49ers quarterback.
