During the first half against the Rams in St. Louis, San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick totally missed uncovered WR Torrey Smith – and Smith did not look too happy about it. He started waving his arms and jumping up and down before the ball was even snapped. There was no one on him.
Just as the ball was about to be snapped, the 49ers' other receiver, Jerome Simpson, became uncovered.
Instead, the Kaepernick handed the ball off to RB Mike Davis, who went right up the middle for a very minimal gain.
